1. Dog Walking

​

All dogs are welcome, however pets with aggressive tendencies will not be accepted with the group. We recommend solo walks.

New dogs require an assessment for groups walks at not charge.

​​

We accept last minute bookings only if there is any availability.

​​

Weekend walks have an extra fee of 45%. Public holidays have an extra fee of 50%.

2. Dog Sitting and Boarding

​

We offer a 24 hour care service. Your dog will attend at least 2 walks a day and will interact with our group walks. They will be treated as part of the family.

​

The owner must provide food and bedding during the sitting or boarding.

​

Public holidays have an extra fee of 20%.

​

Health and Vaccination

 

Dogs must be vaccinated against infectious and contagious diseases (C5 vaccine card). They must be also up to date with worming.

 

Puppies must have their 3rd puppy vaccination up to date.  

 

Dogs over 6 months of age must be de-sexed. 

 

If your dog has any medical condition, illness or injury please let us know.

 

Your dog will receive adequate treatment if it becomes ill during the time of care and we will contact you immediately for further instructions. Expenses are covered by the owner or the authorised representative of the pet. 

 

We may feed your dog with small amounts of dog treats during walks, play and/or training sessions. It is the dog owner’s responsibility to advise us of any food allergies or preferences (alternatively you could supply your dog’s own treats if required).

Cancellation

 

Please provide at least 24 hour notice of cancellation to get a full refund of your payment. Failure to do so will result in a fee of 100% of the scheduled service. 

 

 

Payment

 

Home Visits and Dog Walking must be paid in full before service is provided.

 

Dog Sitting and Boarding are paid 50 / 50. First instalment must be paid before the start day and last instalment can be paid any time during the sitting or boarding and before the last day of service.

Liability and Indemnification

 

Cocoapet is not responsible for any injuries or damage that may occur to pets while they are in our care. 

 

The Pet Owner agrees to indemnify and hold Cocoapet and its contractors harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses that may arise in connection with their dog's use of our services. 

 

The Pet Owner agree to be solely responsible for any and all acts or behaviour of their pet while they are in our care and hereby indemnifies Cocoapet and shall keep Cocoapet indemnified to the full extent permitted by law for any action of the animal which apart from this indemnity may have created any liability on Cocoapet. The Pet Owner shall be responsible for any loss or damage to any of the Business property and accepts that the Owner of the pet will be liable for any damages caused.

 

In the event that a dog engages in a fight with another dog, the Pet Owner acknowledges that no refunds will be issued. The Pet Owner is responsible for any veterinary expenses incurred due to injuries sustained by their dog during a fight.​

 

 

Changes to the terms of service

 

Cocoapet reserves the right to change these terms of service at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the revised terms of service on our website.
 

By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these terms of service.
